Capabilities

Intelligence That Moves With Your Machines

KenRobotics layers AI perception and decision intelligence on top of your existing robotic systems — no full platform replacement required.

Real-Time Scene Perception
Sub-50ms 3D scene understanding fusing LiDAR point clouds and stereo camera depth maps. KenRobotics identifies, classifies, and tracks every object in the operating environment simultaneously — static obstacles, moving agents, and dynamic scene elements — enabling safe, confident autonomous operation at full speed in complex real-world conditions.
Obstacle Avoidance & Planning
Dynamic path re-planning in real time around static and moving obstacles. Predictive trajectory modelling anticipates object paths before collision risks emerge.
Arm & Manipulator Control
Vision-guided pick-and-place, precision assembly, and delicate manipulation tasks. AI handles variable object positions, orientations, and surface types autonomously.
Multi-Robot Coordination
Fleet-wide task allocation, collision-free path planning across multiple simultaneous agents, and real-time rebalancing when a unit goes offline or task priorities change.
Sensor Fusion (LiDAR + Vision)
Deep fusion of LiDAR, stereo cameras, IMU, and radar data streams into a unified, redundant environment model — resilient to individual sensor degradation.
Simulation & Digital Twin
Test new mission profiles, route changes, and edge cases in a high-fidelity digital twin before deploying to physical hardware — reducing risk and development cycles.
How It Works

From Robot SDK to Full Autonomy

Three steps to AI-powered autonomous operations.

1
Integrate with Your Robot's ROS/SDK
KenRobotics publishes and subscribes to standard ROS 1/2 topics and supports custom SDK integration. Connect your robot's sensor feeds, actuator controls, and fleet management system via our client library — typically within a day.
2
KenRobotics Adds Perception & Intelligence
The AI perception stack takes over scene understanding, obstacle detection, and situational awareness. Navigation and task planning modules layer on top, giving your robot a comprehensive cognitive upgrade without rebuilding its core stack.
3
Autonomous Operations Begin
Deploy your fleet with confidence. KenRobotics handles real-world variability, edge cases, and dynamic environments — while the fleet dashboard gives your operators full visibility and override capability at all times.

Common Questions

KenRobotics FAQ

What types of robots does KenRobotics work with?

KenRobotics is a software intelligence layer, not a hardware product. It works with ground-based AMRs (Boston Dynamics Spot, Clearpath Husky, MiR platforms), industrial UAVs (DJI M300, Autel EVO), inspection crawlers, and custom robot hardware that exposes ROS or ROS2 interfaces. The platform provides perception, mission planning, multi-robot coordination, and telemetry streaming — your hardware handles actuation. We support robot fleets with mixed hardware from different manufacturers operating within a single Ken360 workspace.

How does KenRobotics handle dynamic obstacles and people in the workspace?

KenRobotics uses a multi-layer safety architecture. At the perception layer, LiDAR and/or camera-based depth estimation classifies dynamic objects (people, forklifts, other robots) and their trajectories in real time. At the planning layer, the dynamic replan engine adjusts routes within 80ms of an obstacle classification. At the policy layer, zone-based speed limits and exclusion zones (e.g. pedestrian aisles) are enforced at all times. The system is designed to meet ISO 3691-4 AMR safety requirements and integrates with site safety systems for emergency stop broadcasting.

Can KenRobotics coordinate fleets of mixed robot types?

Yes. The Ken360 fleet orchestration layer abstracts hardware differences behind a unified mission API. A ground robot, an overhead drone, and a camera-equipped crawler can all be assigned complementary tasks within the same inspection mission — for example, the drone handles overhead structure scanning while the ground robot inspects floor-level equipment and the crawler accesses confined ducts. Task allocation is AI-optimised based on each robot's current battery level, capabilities, and position relative to the target zone.

What is the beta programme and how do I qualify?

The KenRobotics beta is open to organisations that have an existing robot fleet (or are actively procuring one), a defined inspection or logistics use case, and internal technical resource to collaborate on integration. Beta partners receive dedicated Intelense engineering support, discounted first-year licensing, and direct input into the product roadmap. There are currently 8 of 20 available beta slots filled. Apply via the Contact page with a brief description of your fleet and use case.

Does KenRobotics require GPS or can it work in GPS-denied environments?

KenRobotics is designed for GPS-denied indoor environments. Localisation is handled through a combination of LiDAR-based SLAM (simultaneous localisation and mapping), visual odometry from onboard cameras, and UWB beacon positioning (where installed). The platform builds and maintains a persistent semantic map of each facility that robots share across the fleet — meaning each robot benefits from the collective mapping runs of all other robots in the deployment, accelerating environment learning significantly.
