Capabilities

Intelligence Wired Into Every Device

KenIoT ingests data from any device, on any protocol, at any scale — then applies AI to turn noise into prediction and action.

Multi-Protocol Ingestion
Connect any device on any protocol — MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, REST, CoAP, and more — through KenIoT's universal ingestion layer. No custom connectors needed. Handles billions of messages per day with sub-second processing latency, scaling from a handful of sensors to enterprise-wide deployments spanning hundreds of thousands of devices without architectural changes.
Predictive Failure Detection
AI models learn each device's normal telemetry signature and identify degradation patterns days before failure — enabling planned maintenance instead of emergency repair.
Real-Time Anomaly Alerts
Statistical and ML-based anomaly detection flags outliers within 2 seconds of occurrence. Configurable sensitivity and contextual correlation reduce false-positive fatigue.
Automated Response Workflows
Define trigger-action rules that execute automatically — isolate a device, reroute traffic, dispatch a technician, or throttle load — without human intervention.
Telemetry Dashboards
Fully customisable real-time dashboards for any metric, device group, or KPI. Build views for operations teams, executives, and on-the-ground engineers — all from one platform.
Edge + Cloud Hybrid
Run time-critical inference and response at the edge while centralising historical analysis, model training, and executive reporting in the cloud — the best of both architectures.
How It Works

From Raw Signal to Predictive Action

Three steps from device connection to automated intelligence.

1
Connect Your Devices & Sensors
Point your devices at KenIoT's ingestion endpoints using MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus, or REST. Our device discovery tool automatically identifies connected hardware and maps telemetry schemas — no manual configuration for standard protocols.
2
KenIoT Learns Your Baseline
AI models observe each device and device group over time, building statistical and pattern-based baselines for normal operation. Seasonal variation, load cycles, and maintenance windows are all factored in — producing a nuanced, adaptive model of healthy behaviour.
3
Predictive Alerts & Automated Actions
KenIoT fires alerts the moment anomalies emerge — with root-cause context and recommended actions. Automated workflows execute pre-defined responses instantly, while your team receives a full diagnostic summary via their preferred channel.

Use Cases

Where KenIoT Delivers Intelligence

Industrial Equipment Monitoring
Monitor motors, pumps, compressors, and CNC machines for vibration, temperature, and current anomalies — predicting bearing failures and preventing costly unplanned shutdowns.
Smart Grid Management
Aggregate telemetry from thousands of grid nodes, substations, and meters. Detect demand spikes, identify fault conditions, and automate load balancing in real time.
Fleet Telematics
Aggregate vehicle telemetry across your fleet to predict maintenance needs, optimise routing, monitor driver behaviour, and reduce fuel and servicing costs at scale.

Common Questions

KenIoT FAQ

What types of sensors and devices does KenIoT support?

KenIoT is protocol-agnostic. It natively ingests data from MQTT, OPC-UA, Modbus TCP/RTU, REST APIs, and AMQP streams. Supported sensor categories include temperature (PT100, thermocouple, NTC), vibration (MEMS accelerometers, piezoelectric), current (CT clamp, Hall effect), pressure (4–20mA, 0–10V), flow, humidity, and power quality (harmonic distortion, power factor). We ship pre-built adapters for over 80 industrial sensor manufacturers and all major PLC brands (Siemens S7, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Schneider).

How does KenIoT detect anomalies without labelled training data?

KenIoT uses an unsupervised baseline approach. During a 7–14 day learning period, it builds a normal operating envelope for each asset — including time-of-day, load, and seasonal context. Anomalies are detected as statistically significant deviations from this baseline rather than from labelled failure examples. For customers with existing maintenance logs, these can be ingested to create a supervised failure-mode classifier on top of the baseline model, improving specificity for known fault types.

Can KenIoT scale to thousands of devices across multiple sites?

Yes. The Ken360 IoT pipeline is horizontally scalable and currently handles over 2 million sensor readings per minute across production deployments. Each site runs a local edge aggregator (Ken360 Edge Node) that compresses, filters, and forwards telemetry — meaning bandwidth and cloud cost scale with alert volume, not raw data volume. Multi-site customers get a unified fleet view with per-site drill-down, cross-site benchmark analytics, and centralised alert routing from a single tenanted environment.

How does KenIoT alert routing work?

Alerts are classified by severity (informational, warning, critical) and asset type, then routed using a configurable escalation policy. Channels include email, SMS, push notification (Ken360 mobile app), PagerDuty, OpsGenie, and direct CMMS work order creation (Maximo, ServiceMax, eMaint). Alert suppression rules prevent notification floods during known maintenance windows. AI-driven alert correlation groups related signals into a single incident — for example, three simultaneous anomalies on a cooling loop are grouped as one investigation rather than three separate tickets.

Is KenIoT available now or is it on a waitlist?

KenIoT is currently in a controlled early access programme. We are onboarding manufacturing, energy, and logistics customers with deployments of 50+ monitored assets to refine the platform before general availability. If you join the waitlist now, you will receive early access with direct engineering support, heavily discounted first-year pricing, and the opportunity to influence the roadmap. General availability is planned for Q3 2026.
